List of Contributors

Caroline Adewole is an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist registered with the UKCP. She is also a member of The Bowlby Centre where she teaches the Midlife Seminar as part of the lifecycle. Caroline is interested in working with the different relationships formed and developed during adulthood/midlife. She has worked extensively in the area of parent development, developing and running various workshops on subjects pertinent to parents’ empowerment. She is presently an outreach worker, parent facilitator, and supervisor with The EPEC project (Empowering Parents Empowering Communities) at the Michael Rutter Centre in London. Orit Badouk Epstein is an attachment based psychoanalytic psychotherapist (UKCP registered) and a supervisor working in private practice. She works relationally with individuals, couples, and parents. Orit has a particular interest in working with individuals who have experienced extreme abuse and trauma displaying symptoms of dissociation. She is currently teaching at the Bowlby Centre. Orit is a trustee for the Clinic of Dissociative Studies. She is co-author of the book Ritual Abuse and Mind Control: the Manipulation of Attachment Needs (Karnac) and co-editor of the recently published book Terror Within & Without: Clinical Work on the Edge. She is the associate editor for the Journal Attachment: New Directions in Psychotherapy and Relational Psychoanalysis and co-editor of the ESTD (European Society for Trauma and Dissociation) Newsletter where she regularly writes articles, film and book reviews.
