Scientific Sessions:

In this report a summary of the proceedings of the International Congress is presented.

Most of the papers are abstracted. Some of the papers were not in our possession at the time of publication so that we were unable to abstract them. Eventually most of these papers will be published elsewhere and a detailed report on the proceedings will eventually be published in the International Journal for Psychoanalysis. However, for the benefit of those members who were not present at the Congress we are following our usual custom of abstracting the scientific and business sessions.

There were 51 scientific papers presented; 35 in English, 10 in German, 6 in French and many in various combinations. Representatives of some 13 different countries presented papers:

18 from the U.S.A.
