The resignation of Herbert J. Urbach was accepted.
The Annual Meeting of the Association was held at the New York Academy of Medicine on June 7, 1966. John F. O'Connor and Aaron Stern were co-recipients of the Annual Merit Award for their respective papers entitled, "Psychoanalytic Treatment of a Psychosis" and "Termination in the Service of Treatment Goals."
The following candidates were recently certified in psychoanalysis at the Columbia Clinic: E. Arnold Jones, Frederick Lane, Robert Liebert, Burton L. Nackenson, Robert Silbert, and Robert Spitzer.
Joseph Sandler, Ph.D., John B. Turner, Visiting Professor of Psychiatry at the Psychoanalytic Clinic and in residence there from March 25, through April 22, 1967, will deliver a formal presentation to the psychoanalytic community on March 29, 1967, at the New York Academy of Medicine.
Judith S. Schachter has recently been appointed a training and supervising analyst of the Clinic.
George L. Engel, Professor of Psychiatry and Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester, will give the 11th Annual Sandor Rado Lectures on February 10, 1967 at the New York Academy of Medicine followed by a reception there in the Presidents' Gallery.
