Fall Meeting—December 5-9, 1990
The Fall Meeting of the American Psychoanalytic Association was held at the Fontainebleau Hotel, Miami Beach, Florida, December 5-9, 1990. An abstract of the Business Meeting of Members, including reports of the Secretary of the Executive Council, the Treasurer of the Association, the Secretary of the Board on Professional Standards, the Editor of the Journal and the Chairman of the Fund for Psychoanalytic Research is published in this issue of the Bulletin. Members who desire to obtain copies of the Official Minutes of any of these bodies may do so by communicating with the Administrative Director, Mrs. Helen Fischer, 309 East 49th Street, New York, N.Y. 10017.
Business Meeting of Members
The Business Meeting of Members was held on Friday, December 7, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. George Allison, President, officiating and Dr. Sander Abend as Secretary.
Dr. Allison introduced Dr. Marvin Margolis and Owen Renik, respectively new Chairman and Secretary of the Board on Professional Standards. Dr. Margolis assumed the Chairmanship of the Board upon the untimely death of Justin Krent, this past summer. Dr. Allison thanked Morris Peltz for his service as Secretary of the Board.
II. MINUTES OF THE MAY 11, 1990 MEETING
A motion was made, seconded, and carried to approve the Minutes of the May 11, 1990 Meeting of Members as published.
