Proposed Amendments to the Constitution and Byelaws of the International Psychoanalytical Association

Moses Laufer, Ph.D.

Editorial Introduction

The Committee on the Constitution and Byelaws of the IPA has formulated a number of proposed Amendments to the Constitution and Byelaws, and these are described in the following communication from Dr Jerome S. Beigler, the Chairman of the Committee, which is self-explanatory.

I would like to point out that these Amendments will be submitted to the vote of the entire Membership, for the first time, by mail ballot, following discussion at the Business Meeting at the 1983 IPA Congress in Madrid.
