I suppose most Reports of the Secretary start out by saying that the past two years have been very active and special. I would like to add that these years were perhaps more special than others on account of some particular factors that marked their development. The present Administration was the result of a strongly contested Presidential Election which required from everyone involved a high spirit of collaboration and allegiance to our common aims.

The first task that we undertook was to establish new, or activate old, channels of communication with the local Component Societies and the general membership.
