Tip: To use OneNote for note taking…

PEP-Web Tip of the Day

You can use Microsoft OneNote to take notes on PEP-Web. OneNote has some very nice and flexible note taking capabilities.

You can take free form notes, you can copy fragments using the clipboard and paste to One Note, and Print to OneNote using the Print to One Note printer driver. Capture from PEP-Web is somewhat limited.

For the complete list of tips, see PEP-Web Tips on the PEP-Web support page.

Is the Future Here?

Earl G. Witenberg, M.D.

THANK YOU ROSE. LET ME ALSO WELCOME everybody here to the William Alanson White Institute and to this session of the Committee on Psychoanalysis as a Science of Man. I am glad you all are here; braving this incredibly inclement weather will be well rewarded. The room will be full before the end of the day. There are 47 people who registered, but I suspect from the phone calls we've received there's going to be a lot more.

Some of you may remember my naive idea that we could formulate a 10-year plan for the Institute. We encouraged people at the Institute to come up with the things they wanted to see develop here in the next 10 years. Everyone behaved similarly. The Clinical Services came up with more ideas for the Clinic, the Curriculum Committee came up with a little more power for the Curriculum Committee, the Training Committee wanted certain procedures initiated and so forth. Apparently, like everybody else at middle age, I think we just want to be more like what we are, rather than face some kind of ambiguity or doubt. There were two novel ideas which I think were superimposed on the 10-year plan.
