Impulse Newsletter Committee

Matthew Morrissey, MFT

IMPULSE has experienced many new developments in recent months. We would like to thank our managing editor, Bruce Weitzman, who ensured that IMPULSE has kept firmly on course through these many changes. First off, former staff writer Blair Davis is now editor of our newest feature, Psychoanalysis in the News. In turn, we welcome Lorrie Goldin as our newest staff writer. Shlomit Gorin, who joined our staff in April as editor of the feature Potential Space, continues to ensure quality content from all our staff writers. Writers Jane Reingold and Elizabeth Bradshaw have been documenting our local scene in depth. (Want an IMPULSE writer to cover your event? Let us know!) In the fall, author and Huffington Post blogger Bryant Welch will be a guest columnist. Our income-generating features, Event Spotlight and Piece of Mind, headed up by Meg Earls, are booked until November. Terra Morais makes sure our community is up-to-date on all Bay Area events — in the March and April issues alone over 60 events were listed! Finally, we want to thank Michele McGuinness for her ongoing support and especially for going beyond the call of duty by getting out her lasso and wrangling those pesky invisible characters.
