The Nursery Years: By Susan Isaacs, M.A. (Routledge Introductions to Modern Knowledge, No. 1, 1929. Pp. 76. Price 6 d.)

Review by:
M. N. Searl

This is an excellent and charming little book. There can surely be no two opinions of its value. All specialists know the difficulty of putting expert knowledge into entirely non-technical language and of reducing to such small compass as that allowed by this series the harvest of such knowledge garnered through years of experience. This difficult feat Mrs. Isaacs has triumphantly achieved, and without any sacrifice of freshness and interest.
