The training of unanalysed psychiatrists by psycho-analysts is strongly recommended by the author for psychotherapy. He refers to the advantages of such training in clinical psychiatry and cites some outstanding examples who have made contributions. (The reviewer would like to comment that unfortunately many people who are exposed to such teaching very soon consider themselves psycho-analysts.)
