Announcements of the Amsterdam Congress Bureau

Registration. Sunday, August 5, 12 noon–5.0 p.m. All Congress members are requested to register in the Hall of the Royal Institute for the Tropics, Mauritskade 63, Amsterdam-Oost (tramway lines Nos. 9, 10 and 11), where they will receive their badges and Congress papers. Only badges give admittance to the Congress meetings and receptions. The meetings of the Congress are open to spouses of members, and the Congress fee of fl. 30 can be paid on registration day.

Final Dinner. Those who have booked for the final dinner or still wish to do so are requested to pay fl. 13 per person at the cashier's desk on registration day. (The dinner will take place in the Grand Hotel 'Gooiland' in Hilversum, where members will be taken in coaches from the Congress Hall via a very nice route along the river Vecht and the Loosdrecht Lakes.)

Tourist Office. Lissone-Lindeman's Tourist Agency who have looked to the hotel reservations will have an office in the Congress Hall. Here members can book for the excursions on Thursday afternoon and get all travel information. We wish to draw attention to the fact that in August the Amsterdam hotels are very fully booked so that in most cases it will not be possible for members to extend their stay at the last moment.

Money Exchange. The Rotterdamsche Bank will have a desk in the Congress Hall where money and travellers cheques can be exchanged.

Bookshop. There will be a bookshop in the Congress Hall where besides psycho-analytic literature books on Amsterdam and the Netherlands, on Dutch art and scenery and maps of Amsterdam and Netherland can be obtained.
