Elements of Rorschach Interpretation: By Robert M. Allen. (New York: International Universities Press, 1954. Pp. 242. $4.00.)

Review by:
Joseph Sandler

This is a companion volume to the author's Introduction to the Rorschach Test. It is an up-to-date account of the conventional processes of evaluating the Rorschach protocol. Recent research has been integrated into the text, and a useful bibliography is given.

This is undoubtedly a good book for any student who wishes to become proficient in the test as it is currently used. One gains the impression that the author is sensitive to the problems of the test's reliability and validity, and his approach is, to some extent, a 'dynamic' one.
