Dana Birksted-Breen has served on the editorial board of the International Journal of Psychoanalysis where she was Book Review Editor from 1993 to 2000. She is currently the general editor of the New Library of Psychoanalysis and of the New Library of Psychoanalysis Teaching Series.

Bob Michels has served on the editorial boards of the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association and The Psychoanalytic Quarterly, as well as the International Journal of Psychoanalysis, where he was the first head of the Section on Education from 1997 to 2003. He has also served on the editorial boards of several psychiatric and medical journals.
