Dear Professor,

Would it perhaps be possible for me to have a look at the letter from Bjerre to which you refer (there is presumably nothing personal about it)? I would of course return it immediately. If this request is not in order, please excuse it; it needs no further reply. I should like to know where Bjerre now stands, e.g., with regard to the Zuricher. We no longer correspond.25

All these matters, about which you are writing, keep revolving in my mind. No doubt this year will clear the air and bring with it many a doughty passage-at-arms!
