The Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Dr Mark Kanzer of New York has given a special gift of $25, 000 to the Sigmund Freud Centre for Study and Research Psychoanalysis at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, for the creation of Research Fellowships at the Freud Centre. Dr Kanzer's donation makes possible two Fellowships for 1981/1982, a Mark and Viva Kanzer Fellowship and a Paul Kenzer Fellowship. It is hoped that the initiation of these Fellowships will serve as a model for further donations that will make possible the continuation and expansion of Fellowships at the Sigmund Freud Centre. Such Fellowships will be open to physicians and psychologists, or those working on other disciplines who have a special interest in psychoanalytic theory. The Kanzer Fellowships carry a $10, 000 stipend, plus additional funds for expenses such as travel and books.
