Der Autor, der einen extrem biologischen Standpunkt in Beziehung auf die psychologische Grundlage der Religion und der sozialen Gedanken einnimmt, verteidigt die Psychoanalyse gegen den manchmal vorgebrachten Vorwurf, daß ihre Wirkungen diese Ideale zerstören würden, und spricht die Ansicht aus, daß durch die Erleichterung des Sublimierungsvorganges (mittels Psychoanalyse) dem Interesse des Einzelnen sowohl wie der Gesamtheit am besten gedient würde.
