Gewohnheitsmäßige und gelegentliche Falschbetonungen eines Wortes können ebenso wie ein Versprechen vom Unbewußten her determiniert sein. Die Analyse des Umstandes, daß eine Patientin das Wörtchen „soon“ wie „son“ aussprach, erleichterte dem Autor, wie er eindrucksvoll schildert, das Verständnis der Struktur des ganzen Falles.
