Editorial Note

The Journal of Child Psychotherapy is published annually by the Association of Child Psychotherapists (Non-Medical).

All MSS. of papers offered for publication should be submitted to the Editor at 43a Clifton Hill, London, N.W.8. MSS. should be suhmitted in triplicate, typed in double spacing on one side only and with wide margins. Footnotes should not quote references. A copy of the MS. should be retained by the author.

All references to the literature should be listed at the end of the article in alphabetical order according to the authors’ names, Papers and books referred to in the text and listed under “References” should be marked in the text in brackets by author's name and year of publication. All references should include:

For books—

full name of author,

year of publication in brackets,

full title of book,

place of publication,

name of publisher.

Example:

Fordham, M. (1944) The Life of Childhood. London: Kegan Paul.

For papers—

full name of author,

date of publication in brackets,

full title of article,

full title of periodical (this should be given, if possible, abbreviated according to the World List of Scientific Periodicals) with exact details of volume, number, etc.,

place of publication,

name of publisher.

Example:

Fordham, M. (1960) “Counter-transference”. Brit. J. Med. Psychol., 33, 1. Cambridge University Press.

If the paper is part of a book, the title of the book and the name of its editor and of its publisher should also be quoted.
