Editorial Note

Lisa Miller

Since the last issue of the Journal was published, we have suffered some sad losses. Mrs Esther Bick, Miss Dina Rosenbluth and Mrs Dinah Zubcov all died within a few weeks of one another in July. Mrs Bick died in old age, having occupied a position of great eminence; Miss Rosenbluth's death, though untimely, was not so early as to deprive her of consolidated achievement; but Mrs Zubcov died without Warning and tragically young, denied the time she needed for many things, including making her way in our profession.

We publish an obituary for Mrs Bick here: one for Miss Rosenbluth will appear in the next issue of the Journal.
