Die Frage der Autorschaft Freuds am Artikel »Aphasie« in Villarets Handwörterbuch der Gesamten Medizin: Antwort an Anneliese Menninger

Ferdinand Scherrer

Summary: Is Freud the author of the »aphasia« article in Villaret's Handwörterbuch der Gesamten Medizin (1888)? A reply to Anneliese Menninger. In 2011/12 Menninger rejected my proposition that Freud could not have composed the »aphasia« article in Villaret's medical dictionary. In this reply I argue in favour of my initial view that Freud is not the author of the article that has been attributed to him for over 60 years.
