Edited by: Iréne Matthis, Maggie Zellner
During the second semester of 2006, in addition to our ongoing activities, some of us attended the 2nd Brazilian Congress of Brain, Behavior and Emotions in October and were also invited to join a Panel on Neuro-Psychoanalysis at the 3rd Paulista Congress of Psychosomatics in November (Drs. Y. Soussumi and E. Vale).
Some of us are attending doctoral and specialization programs in the areas of psychoanalysis (S. Soussumi and Y Soussumi), psychiatry (A. Lima), neurology (D. Perissinotti), neuropsychology, Rorschach Test, and learning disabilities and cognitive functions (M. Thiago and S. Tosi) and are conducting research in these fields. CEINP Members have also given several courses and lectures, including a neuropsychoanalysis module (12 hours) at the Institute of Psychology at the University of Sao Paulo in September 2006. CEINP/RUKHA has met several times during 2006 with the Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP), aiming at a partnership.
Dr. Soussumi was invited to coordinate two postgraduate courses in Mato Grosso do Sul for two years, beginning in 2007.
D. Perissinotti wrote two chapters for a book on psychological rehabilitation and neurobiofeedback and has participated into another book on psychological rehabilitation and chronic pain.
At CEINP, D. Perissinotti, S. Soussumi, E. Perissinotti, and Y. Soussumi are developing a project, Introductory Remarks on Neurofeedback and Neuro-Psychoanalysis, which was presented at the 11th Annual Biofeedback Foundation of Europe Meeting, in Berlin, Germany (February 2007). Also, another project by S. Soussumi and coauthored by Y. Soussumi, Psychophysiological Aspects of Personality and Social Skills, is being implemented in the first semester of 2007. CEINP's library is digitalizing and printing our members' works.
