Neuropsychoanalysis Group of Guadalajara, Mexico

Edited by:
Iréne Matthis, Maggie Zellner

Frenando Moreno-Castillo

The Neuropsychoanalysis Group of Guadalajara is directed by Drs. Fernando Moreno Castillo and Carlos Rodriguez Betan-court, both psychiatrists and psychoanalysts, who are the first to work in this field in Mexico. While their group does not run a school or collect dues, they are actively engaged in studying mind-brain correlations. Dr. Moreno recently presented a neu-ropsychoanalytic talk at the Congress of the Psychoanalytic Association of Jalisco. This was the first time that many Mexican colleagues had heard of neuropsychoanalysis.
