The Handbook of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy: Psychoanalytic Approaches. Edited by Monica Lanyado and Ann Horne. London/New York: Routledge, 2009. 466 pp.

Review by:
Jill M. Miller

In 1999, Lanyado and Horne compiled the first edition of The Handbook of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy: Psychoanalytic Approaches. Ten years later they revised it, making “accessible some of the excitement and potential in recent thinking about practice and research” (p. 1). New chapters and enlarged ones demonstrate what Joseph Sandler called developmental psychoanalysis.

The Handbook is organized into four parts.
