PEP-Web Tip of the Day

To save an article in ePub format, look for the ePub reader icon above all articles for logged in users, and click it to quickly save the article, which is automatically downloaded to your computer or device. (There may be times when due to font sizes and other original formatting, the page may overflow onto a second page.).

You can also easily save to PDF format, a journal like printed format.

Editor's Note

Joseph D. Lichtenberg, M.D.

On rare occasions an error serendipitously brings welcome rewards. In our issue on Termination we published a paper, “Some Thoughts on Termination” by Leo Rangell, M.D. followed by a discussion of Dr. Rangell's article by Barry L. Siegel, M.D. Dr. Rangell called to our attention that his was the only paper in the issue to have a discussion and that we had not given him the opportunity to respond to Dr. Siegel. Dr. Rangell noted that Dr. Siegel's discussion deserved a thoughtful response and accompanied his letter with “Some Thoughts on Barry Siegel's Thoughts on ‘Thoughts on Termination.’” We are publishing Dr. Rangell's further thoughts as an addendum in this issue. We can thus, through Dr. Rangell's initiative, provide our readers with an unexpected dividend from our oversight.
