At a woman having undergone a maternal mourning at the age of 8, then a paternal incest for years and which devotes, in the adulthood, in the mainly sadomasochistic sexual practices, are put in perspective the melancholic movements which infiltrate sexual behavior where humiliation and suffering are actively sought. From this case study, we have begun to consider the specificities of transference in the establishment of the therapeutic relation. We propose the hypothesis of feminine perverse masochism which would replace female erotic masochism in compulsive sexuality.
