In his report, Sacha Nacht takes up again the threads of the transmission of psychoanalysis cut during the occupation. Several of his important ideas continue today to influence French psychoanalysis, while others have been lost. The comparison of Nacht's report with the other report, that of Lacan, anticipated the split of 1953.
