Catherine Parat's report describes the completion of libidinal development after puberty at the second stage of sexual diphasism in the human being. It places emphasis on oedipal structuring and describes two specific relations in this organization: a relation to the sexual other and a relation to the “similar other”, forming together a triadic system including the social third.
