Henrik Enckell

Since its foundation, The Scandinavian Psychoana lytic Review has been published by the four Nordic Psychoanalytic Societes, all represented in the Edi torial Board In Gothenburg, 2000, these Societies welcomed The Swedish Psychoanalytical Association — a Provisional Society of the IPA — to take part in the running of the journal, an invitation which was later accepted by the Association. Accordingly, since the beginning of this Volume, the journal is published also by The Swedish Psychoanalytical Association; and since this very issue, the Editorial Board has been completed by Lena Teurnell, who is warmly wel comed by the rest of the Board.

At its annual meeting in 2000, the Editorial Board introduced a so-called anonymous peer review evaluation procedure for manuscripts submitted to the journal. Following this initiative, people outside the Editorial Board may also read and evaluate manuscripts. The Board wants to thank the following persons who have all given the quite extensive time one or more evaluations may take:

Per R. Anthi, Norway

Tomas Böhm, Sweden

Mikael Enckell, Finland

AnnaLena Isaksson, Sweden

Leena Klockars, Finland

Antti Kumento, Finland

Susanne Lunn, Denmark

Vesa Manninen, Finland

Agnes Mesterton, Sweden

Bengt A. Olsson, Sweden

Heiming Paikin, Denmark

Eero Rechardt, Finland

Esa Roos, Finland

Rolf Sandell, Sweden

David Titelman, Sweden

Alexander Wilczek, Sweden

Anders Zachrisson, Norway

The XVII Nordic Psychoanalytical Congress in Gothenburg had as its main theme: Time In Psycho analysis. The theme of this issue of The Scandinavian Psychoanalytic Review is congruent with the theme of the Congress, and former versions of the original papers in this issue were all presented at the Congress in question.
