Dear Professor,

In the enclosed review I hope to have proved equal to the task that has become mine (tuto cito et jucunde).1 I must say that I liked the pamphlet quite well, so that I would also have developed something along the same lines without your instructions. I will also send you the pamphlet, even though I would gladly have kept it. Perhaps the author will send me a copy sometime.

Now I will continue my history of illness (cure). As a sure sign of that fact that we have taken the right path, I can report an increase in potency; in relation to this I have become quite youthful, or more correctly: it turned out that I was only neurotically aged.

All the rest corresponds to that: I eat a lot, gain weight, don't get tired at work, etc. Certainly proof of the neurotic genesis of my physical conditions.
