First of all, I thank you for such a detailed reply, the smoothness of which may serve as a new sign of your wellness. I thank you likewise for the friendly communications about your health, which gratified me on the whole, although the difficulty caused by the stricture of the scar must signify an unbearable torment. Let us hope that this burdensome after-symptom will soon be eliminated.
