Dear Professor,

This depiction gives a somewhat imprecise representation of the situation of our hotel; in reality, it is closer to the watering place (open-air health resort). The landscape view of the place is very beautiful; it is situated in the hollow of a high valley, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, today, by coincidence, also covered with new snow that begins about 3 to 400 meters above the place. We had three burning hot days, then rain. There are nice walks here, but (as is usual in Switzerland) no real forest as we know it from the Austrian Alps and the Carpathians. The hotel is very well managed, the food first-class.—I
