Dear Professor,

Here is the manuscript about which I spoke. I don't know whether you want to accept it at all, and if so: for “Imago” or “Zeitschrift.” In any case, I would be happy to hear your opinion.—Unfortunately, I must ask for a written statement, since the detour by way of Vienna could no longer be included in our travel plans, so that we want to travel from Rome via Venice immediately to Budapest. We arrive in Budapest on October 3 or 4.

Last week we made a splendid but constantly life-threatening trip by car to Paestum, by way of Amalfi and Salerno.
