Dear friend,

Also received your second letter1 and forwarded it to Eitingon. Don't forget to speak with him in timely fashion before the Congress, even if it should require sacrifices. There is much to consider, with regard to Jones and America, that can be handled only by word of mouth. I presume that Jones will put difficulties in the way of your presidency. Eitingon doesn't want to be president, and I absolutely don't want Jones to.2
