Tip: To see papers related to the one you are viewing…

PEP-Web Tip of the Day

When there are articles or videos related to the one you are viewing, you will see a related papers icon next to the title, like this: RelatedPapers32Final3For example:

2015-11-06_09h28_31

Click on it and you will see a bibliographic list of papers that are related (including the current one). Related papers may be papers which are commentaries, responses to commentaries, erratum, and videos discussing the paper. Since they are not part of the original source material, they are added by PEP editorial staff, and may not be marked as such in every possible case.

Dear Professor,

As I already informed you by telegram, the fact of Dr. Burlingham's being unproductively informed cannot be explained by Dr. Amsden's inattentiveness or indiscretion, nor by his false scientific or therapeutic attitude, but by the slyly-skillfully instituted violation of the confidentiality of the mails by Dr. Burlingham.

Dr. Amsden soon discovered this and reproached the patient for it.

Your letter of today had some effect, to the extent that Dr. Amsden (who is accessible to all my and your arguments) will accelerate his plan to take upon himself the surveillance of Dr. Burlingham. He also plans, I think, to keep Dr. Burlingham from traveling to the Semmering for Bob's birthday party.

I think Dr. Amsden will also write to you personally.

It goes without saying that I am also prepared for any further mediation.

Yours,

Ferenczi
