Sándor Ferenczi

Madrid, October 28, 19281

Dear Professor,

Now we head for home. Our friend Ballesteros did everything to promote my lecture of yesterday in Madrid. I will tell you everything by word of mouth. I hope you are already quite well.

Greetings from Dr. Ferenczi and wife

[In a different handwriting]2

Since I have not yet been granted the pleasure of knowing the father of psychoanalysis personally, I was very fortunate to honor him in the person of one of his most loyal and more sage adherents. Dr. Ferenczi, with his forceful, youthful spirit, has instilled in me the courage to continue, or perhaps better said, to begin, the fight for psychoanalysis here.

Luis Lopez Ballesteros
