Sigmund Freud

Vienna, February 25, 1930
IX., Berggasse 191

Dear friend,

I didn't misunderstand your postponement; I knew you were preparing something. My postponement isn't revenge either; I am correcting [proofs of] the Interpretation of Dreams and am otherwise lazy. Very much in agreement with the content of your lecture, except for a few general points of view, which can better be talked than written about, but which I will do, if the opportunity for the former gets postponed too long.

Kind regards,

Freud
