Rundbrief

Dear friends,

I greet with joy Ophuijsen's initiative to reassume the Rundbrief communication among the members of the advisory council. Brill's giving way in the question of American lay analysis has doubtless removed this problem from the order of the day for the time being and in so doing created the cool, unpolitical atmosphere in which one can again treat, without affect and with greater prospect for success, scientific problems and such of the psychoanalytic movement. It is certainly desirable that we members of the advisory council also remain in touch and exchange thoughts during the time between Congresses.

In Hungary the antirevolutionary and Catholic reaction is at the height of its power and hinders, wherever possible, any kind of official activity.
