Tip: To use Pocket to save bookmarks to PEP-Web articles…

PEP-Web Tip of the Day

Pocket (formerly “Read-it-later”) is an excellent third-party plugin to browsers for saving bookmarks to PEP-Web pages, and categorizing them with tags.

To save a bookmark to a PEP-Web Article:

  • Use the plugin to “Save to Pocket”
  • The article referential information is stored in Pocket, but not the content. Basically, it is a Bookmark only system.
  • You can add tags to categorize the bookmark to the article or book section.

For the complete list of tips, see PEP-Web Tips on the PEP-Web support page.

Dear Professor Freud,

You will be surprised to get a letter from me from England, or rather from the coast of Ireland, but so it is. My patience with Canadian civilisation suddenly reached a breaking point, and I fled to Europe. From London I shall go to Paris, then Brussels and Holland. I shall hope to see you in Noordwijk about August 10, that is, provided you will not too greatly resent your holiday being disturbed. My sister-in-law1 has a house there and I have stayed with them there the past two years, so shall again take the opportunity of paying them a visit. I hope you will not mind, and will promise not to interfere too much with your well-earned rest, which I hope will do you the world of good.

In Brussels I am going to investigate this new Internationaler Congress für medizische Psychologie. It sounds suspicious with Frank playing so prominent a part,2 and I surmise that one of its objects, like Moll's Zeit-schrift,3 is to counteract the “psychische Epidemie” [psychical epidemic] of Hoche.4 Forel asked me to read a paper at it, and I shall do so, on Suggestion.5 Janet is to read one on the same subject!6

My address [till Satu]7 will be Poste Restante, Bruxelles.

With Kindest Regards

Yours ever

Ernest Jones.
