Morton S. Rucker, M.D.

The officers for 1969-1970 were Morton S. Rucker, M.D., President; Marie R. Apolito, M.D., Vice-President; Alan G. Miller, M.D., Secretary; Jennie Mauceri, M.D., Senior Councillor; Robert Halem, M.D., Junior Councillor.

With the beginning of the 1969-1970 academic year, the Candidates Association found itself beginning a period of retrenchment following the graduation of seven active members. The Executive Committee recognized that two problems were operating to cause a lack of interest in the organization: 1) The decrease in the duration of training resulted in candidates never really becoming engaged and involved with the organization.
