Enuresis and Bisexual Identification

A formulation is presented concerning the dynamics of enuresis involving the patient's bisexual identification. The enuretic act is conceived of as both active and passive, masculine and feminine. The formulation was retrospectively applied by the patient, and it is possible that the enuresis itself may represent a prototypical sexual experience,

so that later in life it acted as a determinant in the fantasies connected with masturbation and sexual intercourse.
