Notes on Contributors

Sally Box is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and member of The British Psychoanalytic Council, working with individuals, couples, and families. She started work at Belmont Rehabilitation unit (now the Henderson Hospital) and has retained her interest in therapeutic communities and family dynamics throughout her career here and in the US. From 1969, she further trained and worked at The Tavistock Clinic, practising and teaching in relation to individuals, families, and institutions. In 1983, she started moving to Bristol and founded The Bridge Foundation for Psychotherapy and the Arts which she chaired until 2001. She currently runs a clinical workshop there while continuing as a training therapist in private practice.

Wendy Bunston is a senior clinical social worker with a Masters in Family Therapy and further post graduate qualifications in Organisational Dynamics and Infant Mental Health. She is manager of the multi-award winning Addressing Family Violence Programs in the Integrated Mental Health Program of Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital. She has published work in the area of child protection, childhood trauma, child/adolescent sex offending, family violence, and group work. Wendy has developed specialist group work programmes for children and parents affected by family violence, “PARKAS”, the “Peek-A-Boo Club™” for infants and mothers, and more recently “Dads on Board™” for men who have successfully completed a men's behaviour change programme, and their infants.
