Institute Life Beyond Graduation

This essay suggests ways of enhancing institute membership beyond the point of graduation. It argues further that we should assume—and address the fact—that areas of relative insufficiency and the need to learn more are endemic to one's postgraduate development as a psychoanalyst. The institute can be a safe and, indeed, vital place for stimulating this professional growth.
