Review by:
J. C. Flugel

The History of Psychology by the late Professor G. S. Brett of Toronto was originally published in three volumes, the first of which appeared in 1912, the last two in 1921. The complete work was reviewed in this Journal, 3, p. 243. Dr. Peters has attempted to bring the whole within the compass of one large volume (agreeably light in weight, considering its size) and at the same time to bring it up to date by the addition of a chapter dealing with 'Twentieth Century Trends', while contributing occasional short sections linking together such portions of the original work as have suffered abridgement.
