I have tried to demonstrate: (i) that the law of probability does not refute the problem of the determinism of psychic phenomena; (ii) that there are, however, psychic phenomena which are unjustly considered by us to be exclusively psychically determined, whose determining factors we have been unable so far to disclose completely. Thus we can only investigate them, for the time being, along the lines of the laws of probability.
