The Orgasmic Fantasy

Ofer Grosbard

Orgasmic fantasy is the most stimulating story that we tell ourselves in order to get an orgasm. It is interesting to note that the content of the fantasy may change but the relations among the characters within it doesn't change across different orgasmic fantasies and throughout our entire life. More than that, the relations among the characters within the orgasmic fantasy is a personally unique and globally universal transference phenomenon as it influences heavily and shape the way we construct our interpersonal relations. Acquaintance with the relations that appear in our orgasmic fantasy tell us what kind of relations we tend to develop with the other and acquaintance with the relations that appear in the orgasmic fantasy of the other help us to understand him or her. Therefore, orgasmic fantasy is first and foremost a relation fantasy and its importance reach far behind its sexual aspect alone. Case studies are presented to exemplify the orgasmic fantasy importance in therapeutic work.
