Mehrere Fälle von hysterischen Traumzuständen, die alle die Abrahamsche Erklärung dieser Zustände unterstützen, da sie sich als Phantasiesurrogate der Masturbation erwiesen. Die Deutung Abrahams wird besonders durch jene Fälle Brills gestützt, in (Jenen die Traumzustände immer nur nach einer unterbrochenen Selbstbefriedigung (masturbatio interrupta) auftraten.
