Editorial Note

In Future Issues of the Journal the Zusammenfassungen will be dropped. It has been found that they do not have sufficient value for our readers to justify the labour and extra expense of producing them.

In addition the rather laborious method of citing the German text of any of Jung's publications in the Collected works will be omitted wherever they are available in the Gesammelte Werke published by Rascher in Zürich. Since the contents of the volumes in English and German are virtually identical, any reader who wishes to consult the original need only refer to the same volume of the Swiss edition as is cited for the Collected works in the list of references. We shall continue to refer to the year in which Jung's definitive text was published.
