Tip: To see translations of Freud SE or GW…

PEP-Web Tip of the Day

When you hover your mouse over a paragraph of the Standard Edition (SE) long enough, the corresponding text from Gesammelte Werke slides from the bottom of the PEP-Web window, and vice versa.

If the slide up window bothers you, you can turn it off by checking the box “Turn off Translations” in the slide-up. But if you’ve turned it off, how do you turn it back on? The option to turn off the translations only is effective for the current session (it uses a stored cookie in your browser). So the easiest way to turn it back on again is to close your browser (all open windows), and reopen it.

For the complete list of tips, see PEP-Web Tips on the PEP-Web support page.

Introduction

Iréne Mathis, M.D., Ph.D.

When you read this bulletin report, the Second International Neuro-Psychoanalysis Conference and the First General Meeting of the International Neuro-Psychoanalysis Society will already have taken place in New York (April 2001). If this report is shorter than usual it does not mean that activities are slowing down around the world, but that most study and research groups are continuing their work along the lines already reported in earlier issues of Neuro-Psychoanalysis. This time, however, we publish reports from three new countries in Europe: Belgium, Italy, and Portugal. Sweden now has a second center for neuropsychoanalytic studies in the south: Malmö-Lund. We are very happy with these developments.

If you have any questions or are planning to start a study group related to the new Society, please do not hesitate to contact me.
