S. Gabe

This is a case report of the successful treatment of warts by suggestion. The patient was a young woman who had an extensive involvement of the face with verrucæ planæ which for a period of two years resisted physical treatment. Suggestion given in three interviews under light hypnosis resulted in a prompt disappearance of the lesions, without recurrence at the end of six months. The authors recommend that an adequate trial be given this method of therapy to determine its suitability and limitations.
