SAINT ELIZABETHS HOSPITAL, Washington, D. C., a federal psychiatric hospital of about seven thousand patients, offers an approved comprehensive three-year training program in psychiatry. The program provides a broad, sound foundation of principles and techniques of psychiatry, integrating didactic instruction with supervised clinical experience. The annual stipend for residents is: first year—$3,400; second year—$3,800; third year—$4,200.
